The JCCP has been working with other sector based organizations, national influencers and a cross party group of MPs to table an amendment to the Health and Care Bill, which would enable Secretary of State to introduce a licensing scheme for non-surgical aesthetic cosmetic procedures in England. The new system should help to better regulate cosmetic practitioners, to ensure that they have appropriate qualifications, competencies and skills to practice safely.
