The JCCP has received a number of emails and calls this morning regarding reports on social media that have inferred that the JCCP has changed its policy with regard to qualifications that are inferred to  permit non-health care practitioners (beauty therapists) being able to join its Practitioner Register for injectables and fillers, subject to them completing a level 7 qualification. This is categorically incorrect. NO non health-care professional can join the JCCP register at Level 7 at this time. Reference has also been made to the JCCP recognising Ofqual qualifications at L7 for non -care professions. This is also absolutely NOT the case. Please note that the JCCP’s web site is the only legitimate website to convey JCCP changes to policy. Please refer to our website in future for any such clarification.
