JCCP welcomes Mr Dalvi Humzah as Key Opinion Leader

The Joint Council for Cosmetic Practitioners (JCCP) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Dalvi Humzah as a Key Opinion Leader (KOL). This appointment recognises Mr Humzah's extensive experience and significant contributions to the field of aesthetic medicine and plastic surgery.

A Distinguished career in plastic surgery and aesthetics

Mr Dalvi Humzah brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his role as a JCCP KOL. He is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon with over two decades of experience in private practice, complemented by a ten-year tenure as a Consultant Plastic Surgeon in the NHS. His academic background is equally impressive, boasting a degree in Anatomy and an MBA, which provides him with a unique perspective on both the medical and business aspects of aesthetic practice.

Professional affiliations and accolades

Mr Humzah's standing in the field is further evidenced by his membership in prestigious professional bodies, including BAPRAS, UKAAPS, ASPS, and ISAPS. His excellence in practice has been widely recognised, with notable achievements including:

- Aesthetic Practitioner of the Year 2016-17

- Multiple awards for teaching in facial aesthetics

- Aesthetics Journal award for Outstanding Achievement (2022)

Throughout his career, Mr Humzah has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to education and training in the field of aesthetics. His roles have included:

- STEP® tutor for the Royal College of Surgeons of England

- Examiner for the Intercollegiate MRCS for the Royal College of Surgeons of Glasgow

- Aesthetic surgery module leader for the MSc in health sciences (Plastic Surgery) at the University of Warwick - Warwick Medical School
