‘Professor David Sines CBE Chair of the JCCP appeared in the above Sky News report on the 3rd of July and alongside the Hon. Judith Cummins MP highlighted the appalling and unacceptable practices being performed and proliferated by many unregulated training providers who operate increasingly within the aesthetic training industry. Many such ‘facial injectable and dermal filler’ training courses in the UK profess to train inexperienced persons ‘from novice to expert’ following attendance at one to three day courses. The JCCP considers such courses to be completely unacceptable and misleading with regard to their exaggerated claims of training individuals to a point of safety in practice. Such short and unregulated courses operate without due regard for patient safety and public protection’.
