Key audiences are professionals who work with children and young people, with a particular focus on the education sector, although the learning is relevant to anyone who may be interested in how body image develops and impacts mental health.
The course brings together research, programmatic learning and lived experience to bridge gaps in knowledge and good practice within the workforce. Learners will engage in reflective discussions, case studies, further reading and exploring the evidence base to explore how body image affects children and young people, it’s impact on mental health and how to support a healthy body image within a practitioner setting.
The course is free to complete and can be upgraded to earn a certificate for £64.00.
